Governor Hogan’s Employee Appreciation Party
On May 6th, 2017, Governor Larry Hogan hosted an Employee Appreciation Party for his staff. The occasion took place at the Government House where Governor Larry Hogan asked Chad’s to cater the event. We were more than happy! Each year Governor Hogan throws a private party for all of the employees and families that work at the Government House. This was a private party, but we were able to grab a few pictures with the Governor and the food. Check out the menu for the Employee Appreciation Party below.

The History of Chad’s BBQ & Governor Hogan
Interestingly, Larry Hogan has been a long time customer and fan of Chad’s BBQ, which is just a short drive from his home. In fact, Hogan has been coming to the restaurant for more than seven years since it was known as Wharfside Bar and Grill. In addition, he often frequents the restaurant with his wife and lovingly refers to Chad’s as his neighborhood place. According to Terry White, Governor Hogan is just a regular customer who is very kind and approachable. Indeed, Mr. Hogan loves all of the food, but his favorite may just be the smoked chicken wings.
Catering parties is always so much fun. Every even is different and we were very honored that the Governor chose Chad’s to cater his event. If you have a party or an upcoming event this summer, consider how awesome it would be with Chad’s BBQ. We would love to do the catering and do just about every type of party. We aren’t just for backyard BBQs, we cater wedding, graduations, birthdays, holiday gatherings, fundraisers and more.
